Triad of Health
The paradigm of Holistic Health lends itself to three fundamental aspects for the bodies well-being: the Physical/Structural aspects of the body, the Mental/Emotional aspects, and the Biochemical/Nutritional/Hormonal aspects. Together they form a Triad Of Health.
“Doctors of Chiropractic are physicians who consider man as an integrated being and give special attention to the physiological and biochemical aspects including structural, spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular, nutritional, emotional and environmental relationships.”
– American Chiropractic Association
Chiropractic Treatment Methodology in our Clinic
Restoring joint movement and reducing muscular tension is achieved with manipulation of joints in the spine and extremities. Techniques include: manual manipulation (audible “pop”), drop table, activator, arthrostim, craniosacral and muscle energy technique.
Stretching and strengthening exercises promote stability and assist in preventing re-injury.
Physiotherapy uses electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, traction, massage and hot/cold packs to promote recovery.
Healing may be facilitated by nutritional supplementation and/or dietary changes.
