Kaila Feves is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Chef. She has received training from The Functional Nutrition Alliance, AFPA, Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Oregon Culinary Institute.
Kaila’s personal experiences struggling with our modern healthcare system is what empowered her to help others find health and healing for themselves using a more functional and holistic approach. After ‘the system’ failed her over and over again, she set to work learning as much as she could to heal and help others break free from the cycle of sickness that so many of us are trapped in.
Kaila was raised by two holistically minded parents (a chiropractor and a holistic health educator) in a home where food was treated as nourishment and medicine. From a young age she was taught how to “check in with her tummy” and consider the outcome her food choices would create.
She has co-owned Eena Kadeena, a gluten, dairy, soy and corn free bakery in Portland, taught healthy cooking classes covering a wide variety of nutritional topics, including Cancer Fighting Nutrition Workshops in partnership with Kaiser.
Kaila is excited to join the team at Holistic Health Clinic and to continue to encourage and educate patients on how to use food as medicine and tap back in to our body’s innate ability to heal itself.
When Kaila isn’t working with clients at HHC, she loves to frequent the Portland Farmer’s Market with her husband and their 4 year old daughter, create new recipes, go on outdoor adventures, hangout with friends and enjoy the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer.
