Growing up with a grandfather who was a massage therapist, I was always aware of the benefits that massage can provide. His work often played a large part in working through my own injuries that I sustained during the years of training and teaching martial arts and acrobatics.
After I left coaching martial arts, tumbling and gymnastics, I was still fascinated by the human body and knew massage therapy was the most natural path for me. I graduated from Everest College in Fife, Washington in 2010.
I love the capacity bodywork has to reconnect us with our bodies and to move our awareness in such a way that we may cultivate wellness. I try to approach each session anew and give the body a chance to direct the work. With that said, I tend to work deep to facilitate lasting tissue release, while incorporating a light and flowing touch to allow the body to relax and integrate the bodywork. I enjoy creating space for the body to do what it wants to do – heal and restore.
When not working I can be found with my wonderful wife and daughter, hiking, doing art, playing music and soaking up all that the beautiful PNW has to offer.
