Greg Angnos, LMT
Greg Angnos has been practicing massage professionally since 2011. As a student at East West College he studied a variety of massage styles and methods, however he connected with medical massage and honed his focus to learn as many treatment methods and techniques as he could. Once he graduated, he began to practically apply these skills he learned and continued to develop his skill set in order to provide both efficient and effective results. As he has progressed through his career, he has developed his own methodology of medical massage, which he calls Dynamic Release, to relieve acute and chronic aches, pains, tightness and tension.
Greg got interest in massage following a car accident in 2008 which left him with a broken neck. This experience was life changing for him and helped to clarify his path and reveal his purpose. He felt the need to help people with pain and stress that they experience, and wanted to do so as directly as possible, with his hands.
Greg was born and raised in Portland, and as a native to the area, he thoroughly appreciates the holistic mindset of the people who call this place home. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, backpacking, rockhounding, camping, photography, creating art, collecting stones and crystals, and making jewelry.
Greg utilizes a variety of methods and techniques in order to achieve the best results. These include; Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, relaxation, Trigger point, active release, neuromuscular release, thai massage, joint mobilization, injury prevention and recovery, and polarity therapy. He continues to learn new skills and develop new techniques and methods in order to provide the high quality, effective medical massage.
